Transport ministry warns manufacturer over faked safety data

TOKYO, Japan - Takashi Kakegawa (L), president of Koito Industries Ltd., receives instructions to improve the company's business operations from Ryuhei Maeda, director general of the Civil Aviation Bureau at the Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Ministry in Tokyo on Feb. 8, 2010.
